Born in the land of swamps, where Disney and the Bible Belt co-mingle further south than you’d imagine, I found faith as a teenager when my own fear and frustration with small beginnings met a Big God who made it clear, He saw me and wasn’t just a quiet bystander. A year later at 16, a nerd by heart, I found a sermon staring back at me when all I wanted was a fantasy novel. While the passion for writing has never left, God had already begun changing this quiet introvert into a boisterous bleeding heart that couldn’t go fifteen minutes without human interaction. Eleven years of mentorship, a couple of college semesters, a certification in ministry through Global University and the Assemblies of God and fourteen years of working in ministry total, I stand hungry to see family treated as not an aspect of the church but as the crucial cornerstone of it. Through love, discipleship, and collective study of God’s word, I know that, together, we can find the great potential God has been longing to bring out in you!
